about us
For Every Season of Becoming
At Blue Pines Counseling, we believe therapy is deeply personal and that no two stories, or seasons of life are the same. We believe meaningful change and growth begins with self-awareness and self-knowledge. Not only what is happening now, but the deeper story underneath it.
Our work is rooted in a depth-oriented approach to counseling, with curiosity about the experiences and patterns that shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world.
We take time to know you as a whole person, not simply as a collection of symptoms or struggles. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface: your experiences, patterns, relationships, values, strengths, hopes, and the parts of yourself you may still be discovering.
Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about developing a deeper understanding of who you are, what has shaped you, and what matters to you now. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, seeking deeper self-understanding, or moving toward a new chapter, we’re here alongside you with care, curiosity, and respect as you move toward a life that feels more intentional, authentic, and whole.

Who We Work With
Teens & Young Adults
We work with teens and young adults from a developmentally informed and relational perspective, supporting identity formation, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Therapy may integrate skill building, experiential approaches, and creative expression to help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
Individual Adults
Individual therapy offers a space for reflection, exploration, and growth. We integrate psychoeducation with experiential and relational approaches to help clients develop deeper self-knowledge, process life challenges, and create meaningful change aligned with their values.
Couples Counseling
We approach couples and relationship therapy through a relational and attachment-informed lens. Therapy focuses on strengthening communication, increasing emotional understanding, and shifting patterns that create disconnection, while supporting greater intimacy, trust, and repair.
Our services and Approach
Our therapists are all dually licensed art therapists and professional counselors. As a whole we are client-centered and utilize trauma-informed techniques integrating our Art Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic training. We also often utilize psychoeducation, CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness tools & techniques to develop client agency and self-efficacy.
