how we work
We work collaboratively with clients to explore what structure and pace best support their goals for growth and healing. This may include individual therapy, family work, art therapy, intensive sessions, or a thoughtful combination of approaches. We remain flexible and responsive, adjusting the process to meet your unique needs.
Who We Work With
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
We use a prevention and early intervention perspective when working with children and almost exclusively utilize art therapy with this age group. Art therapy helps children express themselves when words and vocabulary aren’t easily accessible and helps them build self-confidence and self-awareness. Sessions include coping skill development and exploration emotion identification and expression.
Ages 6-12
Teens & Young Adults
We work with teens and young adults from a developmentally informed and relational perspective, supporting identity formation, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Therapy may integrate skill building, experiential approaches, and creative expression to help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
Ages 12-25
Adults
Individual therapy offers a space for reflection, exploration, and growth. We integrate psychoeducation with experiential and relational approaches to help clients develop deeper self-knowledge, process life challenges, and create meaningful change aligned with their values.
Ages 25+
Couples & Relationships
We approach couples and relationship therapy through a relational and attachment-informed lens. Therapy focuses on strengthening communication, increasing emotional understanding, and shifting patterns that create disconnection, while supporting greater intimacy, trust, and repair.
Our services and Approach
Our therapists are all dually licensed art therapists and professional counselors. As a whole we are client-centered and utilize trauma-informed techniques integrating our Art Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic training. We also often utilize psychoeducation, CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness tools & techniques to develop client agency and self-efficacy.
